4th Foundation Day Celebrations of ITRA

To commemorate, the Foundation Day of the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda, a one-day symposium on Futuristic Avenues in Ayurveda was organized on 15th October 2024 (Tuesday) at the Institute for the faculty members and students of the institute at Dhanvantri Mandir Auditorium from 9;30 AM onwards. The main objective of this symposium was to provide young Ayurveda doctors with more self-assurance and career security

The function was inaugurated by Chief Guest – Smt. PoonambenMaadam,Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Jamnagar & Devbhumi Dwarka and Member of Institutional Body, ITRA, Jamnagar.  Vaidya Mukul Patel, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, Chairman, NCISM, New Delhi, Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Vice Chancellor, International University of Vedic Wellness, Streamwood, Chicago, IL, USA, and Prof B J Patgiri, I/C Director, ITRA, Jamnagar also graced the inaugural function.

Renowned personalities of the Ayurveda field like Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, Chairman, NCISM, New Delhi, Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Vice Chancellor, International University of Vedic Wellness, Streamwood, Chicago, IL, USA,Dr. Vijay Singh Chauhan, Director, Techno-Commercial, Ammore Health Essentials, Wellness Forever Pvt.Ltdt: Mumbal, Prof. R. N. Acharya, DG, CCRAS, New Delhi, and  Dr. Saket Ram Thrigulla, Research Officer, CCRAS NIIMH, Hyderabaddelivered scholastic deliberations about the extensiveness of Ayurveda education and the numerous career prospects available, with the prospective to guide the scholars of Ayurveda in selecting the most appropriate career paths that align with their interests and abilities. After guest lectures, a cultural event was also held at the Dhanvantari Mandir Auditorium from 7 pm onwards, in which students of ITRA presented various classical dance forms, songs, and acts

A total of 663 registered delegates participated in the event, including 50 faculty members, 73 Ph D scholars, 250 postgraduate scholars, 15 international postgraduate trainees from Sri Lanka, and 275 undergraduate students.
