The department of Swasthavritta is one among newly formed departments in the Institute for Post Graduate Teaching & Research in Ayurveda. It was established in 2016-17 academic year and continuously doing efforts for advancement. The main objective of this department is to impart teaching, training and research to the Ph.D. (Ayu) and M.D. (Ayu) scholars in the specialty of Swasthavritta and Yoga. At present, department also provides lifestyle modification consultancy services to the patients and healthy volunteers who attend the OPD. In addition, it organizes yoga programs for the students of foreign countries delegates, staff of the institute, PG students and general public.
