Ministry of Ayush welcomed the WHO team at Jamnagar
The Special Secretary Shri Pramodkumar Pathakji formally launched a podcast channel of ITRA, Jammagar. The vibrant ITRA campus has diverse environment.
This multilingual podcast channel will broadcast Ayurveda related topics in all the leading languages.
Shri Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, MoA welcomed the WHO team as they visited the Interim office to further review the work in progress. The WHO GCTM was established with an interim Office at the Institute of Training and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA) in Jamnagar, Gujarat by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Mauritius PM Shri Kumar Jugnauth and Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Director General, WHO in April’22. The Global Center of Traditional Medicine envisioned establishing a knowledge centre to expedite contributions from TM systems for global health & well-being.
