One day hand on training workshop on Primary Trauma Care and Basic Life Support
The Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurved, Jamnagar organised a one day hand on training workshop on Primary Trauma Care and Basic Life Support in association with Lifeline Foundation, Vadodara Endorsed by RAV, New Delhi on 3rd September, 2022.
The initiation of the workshop has been started with the Teaching Faculty and hospital staff (including Deputy Superintendent, RMO and Medical Officers) followed by training for All PG and PhD Scholars of ITRA.
The workshop highlighted the dual objective, so as to train the faculties and PG-PhD Scholars in providing medical relief and treatment and mainstreaming AYUSH doctors with competencies to provide care in lines of modern medicine. Also the aim was to train faculties and scholars to act and save lives till ambulance relief reaches and to sensitise ourselves in the Trauma Care emergencies sector including Road Traffic Accidents.
Following sessions were taken for hand on training workshop:
1. Initial Assessment and Primary Survey
2. Cervical Spine Stabilisation with Cervical Collar
3. Airway Management
4. Wound Care, Suturing & Haemorrhage Control
5. IV/IO Access
6. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Honorable Director, Both Deputy Directors, All Deans, Hospital Superintendent and all the Faculties of Itra Jamnagar took benefit from this Workshop. Total Beneficaries (60)
