100 days intensified TB elimination Campaign

As a part of “100 days intensified TB elimination Campaign” different activities and competitions were organised by Department of Kayachikitsa, ITRA, Jamnagar. The guest lectures were delivered by Dr.Nirmal Prajapat, (MBBS, MD, PSM, WHO Consultant, central TB division, Rajkot region) and Dr.Palak Ganatra (City TB officer, JMC (Jamnagar urban). “Nikshay Shapat” was also taken along with TB awareness rally by Faculty members, BAMS students,B.pharm students ,MD ,Ph.D scholars of ITRA . Currently, ITRA is registered under “Nikshay Mitra Portal” and Chyavanprash prepared by the pharmacy of ITRA were freely distributed to 100 known patients of MDR tuberculosis.

On the eve of 3rd April 2025, Thursday the award function was conducted at P.M.Mehta Auditorium, Jamnagar in which the winners of Slogan competition and Jingle competition were facilitated with cash prize and certificate of appreciation, whereas the winners of Oral paper presentation competition and Quiz competition were awarded with momento and certificate of appreciation in the presence of Director Prof.Tanuja Nesari, Dean Academic Prof.Hitesh Vyas, Dean International Prof.Mandip Goyal, Dean Research Prof.B J Patgiri, Dean Student welfare Dr. Pashmina Joshi. All the judges of the competitions were also felicitated with momento and certificate of appreciation.
